Karan has finally opened up on his divorce with Jennifer. Read on to know more…

 

Karan Singh Grover and Jennifer Winget decided to part ways recently. However the two never talked about their divorce in detail to the media. But Karan, who is making his big Bollywood debut with Bipasha Basu in the upcoming erotic thriller Alone has broken his silence on the separation from Jennifer.
In an interview with a portal, KSG says that he doesn’t like people talking about his divorce.”I’ve been lucky with my first film; have had a chance to work with good people. Once the audience watches it, they will know why I choose this film. At this crucial point, when talk is around my divorce, and personal life, I don’t feel good. Yes I could have spoken my mind, but chose not to; instead I chose to keep silent. I didn’t want to hurt anyone with my words. I choose not to point fingers. It’s two people – whether they are actors or any other professionals – they have joined hands and they have chosen to live it separately. It’s their decision, and their life, and they don’t owe answers to anyone else,” says Karan.
The former Qubool Hai actor also said that he would not want to have his kid witness fights between his parents. “Two people are in love, and have built something special together, but are then parting ways, because otherwise they will just end up destroying everything about themselves. Our generation has grown up witnessing horrible fights between my parents – not my parents specifically. I have seen a lot of couples fight, while growing up. And I would never want my kid to witness that while growing up, parents making each other so unhappy. Why live that life? Once you come to that realisation, mutually, you make the difficult decision to separate,” added Karan.

Farah Khan celebrates her 50^th birthday today and we recently brought to you some pictures from the grand birthday bash that was held last night. However, while most of our Bollywood celebrities including Karan Johar, Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were seen attending the do, best friend Shah Rukh Khan gave it a miss! Yes!
Farah and Shah Rukh share a great bonding and their friendship has constantly grown over the years with films like Main Hoon Na, Om Shanti Om and the latest, Happy New Year. So it was but obvious to have SRK topping on Farah’s guest list. But despite the rock steady camaraderie that they share, SRK chose to skip the birthday bash with only wife Gauri Khan, being there on his behalf. Quite strange right? In fact, you know what’s even surprising? King Khan, who is otherwise so active on Twitter, has not even dedicated a birthday wish to Farah yet!

It certainly is the most adorable thing you’ll see all day!

Farah Khan rang in her 50th birthday last night and invited the who’s who of the film industry over for a gala celebration. Everybody sure seemed to have a fun time at the party, specially Deepika Padukone and her beau Ranveer Singh. Though they didn’t arrive together, they left with Karan Johar but while leaving Ranveer something so adorable that made our hearts all mushy!
As KJo and DP were leaving the party, Ranveer followed Deepika with a flower in his hand and the most charming smile on his face! Deepika too enjoyed the little jest that happened for her. While we don’t know whether Deepika accepted the flower or not, the romantic gesture by Ranveer made our day!
Though the lovebirds haven’t spoken about their relationship officially, their actions in the recent past have spoken louder than their words! DP and Ranveer enjoyed a romantic getaway in Maldives to ring in the New Year, the two also celebrated Deepika’s birthday in Bengaluru and the actress’ family also warmed up to the Bajirao Mastani actor!

It certainly looks like because the Vicky Donor actor who was part of Abhishek Chaubey’s Udta Punjab till recently has now backed off from the project. And we hear Ms Khan probably has something to do with it…

Not too long ago, we told you that Kareena Kapoor Khan is all set to team up with her ex-boyfriend Shahid Kapoor. The ex-lovers will be coming together for Abhishek Chaubey’s Udta Punjab which also stars Alia Bhatt. While we all are eager to see the Jab We Met co-stars on the big screen once again, the two aren’t actually paired opposite each other in the film. The Singham Returns actress was supposed to share screen space with Ayushmann Khurrana in Chaubey’s directorial venture. However, the Hawaizaada actor has now been shown the exit door. While Khurrana’s spokesperson has maintained that the B-town hunk is no longer part of the film because of date issues, there is another angle to this whole Ayushmann’s exit story.
Reportedly, Saif Ali Khan’s wifey is the reason why the Paani Da Rang singer isn’t doing Shahid-Alia starrer anymore. Well, Bebo wants to work with STARS and looks like Ayushmann doesn’t fall under that category at least for the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actress. We say so because Kareena had most of her scenes with the Nautanki Saala actor in Udta Punjab which wethinks she wasn’t happy with as she made it quite clear to the makers that she will only work with stars. That’s not all! Mr Khurrana’s boyish looks were also a problem for the Begum. A source told a leading tabloid, “Since Bebo isn’t paired with Shahid, most of her scenes were with Ayushmann, who looked a little too young. Chaubey and Aayushmann then decided to team up for another project as this one wasn’t meant to be.”
Now it won’t be surprising if this grapevine is indeed true because Bebo is just being Bebo, hai na? It seems after doing away with her ‘I-will-only-work-with-my- friends’ funda, KKK has now got a new criteria as far as doing a film is concerned. It’s okay to have filters and wishlists but its more important to have the rights ones, no peeps? Guess Karisma Kapoor’s little sister has forgotten Anurag Kashyap’s advice – “You should not ask who is in the film, you should ask what is the film (about).”
As for Ayushmann looking too young, well, even Shahid had a baby face initially but that didn’t stop Kareena from working with him, so why so much fuss now?
